Can you see the ignition key? VATS will have a little insignia. Or, get the vin, ask a dealer.
I very much doubt a heavy truck will have vats. I bought a 2005 3500 6 liter van and it doesn't.
The seller said we could have the key, gas pedal and any modules we need along with the harness. I'll have a better look this weekend when we're pulling the engine. Worst case scenario is I'll have to flash the PCM but I'd prefer not to.
anything obd2 just use hptuners to kill vats. done. works great for stealing cars with blank/dummy keys as a bonus!
Full disclosure: first thought was why does a truck that big need a targeting system? Just drive at the target. But... I just finished playing some fallout so don't mind me.
