i'd be all over those if i actually had any money. i like Vegas, and i think those were the first multiport efi equipped vehicles sold in the USA.

That would be incorrect, sir.
The Bendix Electrojector in the '58 Chryslers was the first. It was a disaster. Bosch licensed Electrojector from Bendix and it became Jetronic (D-Jet) in the '68 (I think) VW Squareback)
Porsche, Mercedes, Volvo, and Saab all also sold Multiport EFI cars before the Cossie Vega.
You are wrong, sir. Airplanes were THE first vehicles with efi. And some early ones had diesel engines, too. Not many were built--something about the weight of the engine blocks...
Even if these weren't "true" Cos-Vegs $2000 isn't too bad a price, for 2 GTs....assuming they aren't too badly rusted on the bottom.

That's a big assumption...
When I was growing up the Vega could only claim one "first", it was the first car to rust through before it's first scheduled plug change. That was in Quebec, where road salt isn't even mixed with any sand, but still, they rusted pretty darned quick.
