I went to visit a client of my company recently and he excitedly told me about the vinyl wrap job he finally had completed on his NC Miata, as he knows I'm a "car guy". After we concluded the meeting, he took me outside to show it to me. I then asked if I could take pictures of it, knowing I would be compelled to share it here.

I'll leave the comments up to the group.

...or maybe four big snaps in Z formation!

Looks like a nicely installed wrap job, though! Very shiny.

I suppose if I lost some bet, I'd try to cover it up too by saying its cool.

pretty crazy what they can do with vinyl these days.

that would look cooler on a cargo van though.

Cool things about vinyl-

1) It probably cost 20% of a similar bout of "self expression" in real paint.
2) In about an hour you could completely remove the evidence.

Not really my taste, but good on the owner for having the guts to make it happen.

It was very nicely done. I don't know what shop did it (car is in Dallas) but they did a great job.

As Tom said so eloquently, not really my taste either!

I think it's awesome!

(And not entirely due to the fact that it will mean virgin paint in 5 years when a Miata enthusiast picks it up used.. ;-)

Your insurance rates are lower if your vehicle comes with an anti-theft device.

That counts.

Awesome Job. I have to agree that belongs on a Custom Van, not a Miata but then if he likes it...

Stars on the front end look like paint chips...

Great job on the wrap (but it does need more wolves).

I will just guess that he had it wrapped in a mirror finish.
Seems that his office is in a nice location.

Amazing what they can do with vinyl now.

Does NOTHING to dispel the myth of Miata owners...

That was my immediate reaction as well. Maybe they're on the back of the car.

Not my taste, but amazing what vinyl can do now. I need to get my Audi repainted, maybe I'll just have it wrapped instead.

Looks like it would be more fitting on a PT cruiser.

Is that all on one car or does he have 3 miatas? Please tell me there is the star miata, the beach miata, and the desert miata.
