The UPS driver is Steve Burtis, from the description of the video.

The whole modest cost Formula car idea, be it Formula Jr, Formula V, Formula Ford needs to be explored by GRM.
Maybe they can come up with a Formula Mazda ?!?
Stock everything except the chassis and body. Simple, affordable, compact, easy to work on, store, haul to and from races.
There used to be a few Formula V’s hauled on the open Volkswagen combi van’s. And a lot if not most Formula Jr. and Formula Fords were hauled on trailers behind sedans. and station wagon s
I remember talking to a guy at Road America in an old Chevy van and basic open trailer and his FV car. Slept in the van all weekend. Basic racing at the June sprints.
Then I watched a video this weekend on Craig Jackson’s 1965 Shelby Mustang restoration and that there’s a difference between NOS Assembly line parts versus NOS dealer parts. They found a NOS assembly line air FILTER and paid $1000 for that part alone
This car crazy stuff is nutty....

Thanks for posting that. I was very impressed with the library of old videos at http://periscopefilm.com/ and at their Youtube archive https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCddem5RlB3bQe99wyY49g0g
I searched around a little, and their 12 Hours of Sebring from 1963 is my favorite. Lots of Triumphs and Austin-Healeys among the spectators. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Lox0_pe3KQ
For example, the TR4 model had only been out a couple of years and there were a large number, spectating and participating. Here's what I dug up for the entry list http://www.racingsportscars.com/entry/Sebring-1963-03-23.html
Love the standing start at Marlboro. One of the last standing starts in club racing. Also spectators for a club race, what a concept.

Formula LEAF!!!
Formula Zero... using zero motorcycle power units... would be closer to equality in power? Might need two packs to go for a full 25minute race? Would be easy to “control cost” via controller limits.
edit: and yes, I’m going to beat this idea-drum over and over again
