Short and sweet. I have cooled off now. Had a cup of coffee. The dumb MAF started acting up while in traffic, so i held up everyone and just made me mad. Woooosaaahhhh.....

Here's MY rant:

folks who say "my car" (whatever brand) and fail to include PERTINENT facts like "my 1999 Volkswagen Jetta wagon with the VR6 and automatic is a big pile of poo BECAUSE..........

My 2001 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg 1.8t 5 speed is a big pile of poo because it is a electrical nightmare!

If it makes you feel any better I don't mind your car at all. If it were mine and it was a big pile of poo then that might be another story. Way to take one for the team!

A late model VW needs a new MAF? Shocking!

It's even more fun when it bad goes on a TDI... black soot POURS out fo the tail pipe. BTDT. Fortunately, they're relatively cheap and easy to replace.

I just unplugged the MAF, running off the o2 sensor. Its ok, feel alot better than i did this morning.
