My tax returns should be in today...
Sounds good, if it is complete enough for the Challenge rules. Dash, inner fenders, etc, that often get stripped off race cars. The parts car sounds like a logical additional purchase.
You have to have inner fenders for the challenge?
My DDs don't even have inner fenders, because my tires burn through them.
Weird.... maybe i'm talking about something different... i'm talking about the ~4oz piece of plastic that shields the wires running through the fenders from the debris....
Oh well.

Assuming this is the 2.0L, add a cast turbo manifold from a MazdaSpeed Protege (selling for pennies on the dollar) and a T25 series turbo, and you'll be off to a good start.

I believe that is called the fender liner. The inner fender is the actual metal that separates the wheel and suspension from the engine bay.

If you took the inner fenders out of a Probe, you'd need to make it a tube frame car and run afoul of the ban on those anyway. I'm pretty sure the rule is about the metal section the strut towers are attached to.
