Remember the feeling of playing with toy dump trucks in the sandbox? That's the feeling that we get when we watch these Dakar Rally trucks. There is something special about watching full-sized trucks launch off of sand dunes like it's a normal thing.
Dakar has always been my favorite motorsports event, and the trucks my favorite class.

I've spent many an hour searching out vids showing more details of those trucks. There's several about the Kamaz trucks, and while fascinating to watch, I reckon I'd get more out of them if they were in English (or I spoke Russian).

They are powered by Cummins 8.3's because those are the largest engines they can run in the class

These are among my favorite racers of all. Somehow my father brought me a video about the Twin engined DAF and even though I didn't understand it I've wanted to race one.
