There's small, and then there's 1:150 small.

That's just how tiny this RC car is, and it may be the smallest of its kind. It can't be bought, but it can be made if you have the patience to make it yourself.

Personally, we'll just stick to watching the video.

Holy smokes.  I used to make "tiny" robots 2 to 4 times this size when I was in college, but I was starting with tiny RC car parts.  I can't imagine making one this small, and I didn't even realize you could get materials like tiny brass tube, nylon square stock, etc!

Whoa. I definitely have neither the skill nor the patience to scratch build something like that, especially that small.

This is all the more impressive if you know how small a 1:150 scale car is.  Most "Micro Machines" cars are in the ballpark of 1:150 scale.  Of course I see this and start thnking, "oooh, I could drive this around on my son's N Scale train layout".  First few steps:  OK that's gonna be tough, but I can do it.  Then we start custom micro soldering our own receiver.

AAAANNDD cue the "Nope Octopus" GIF.

EDIT:  As for why you would build this, it probably is for a train layout.  Imagine, if you will, being able to drive it around your N Scale "town" on your train set.  It would be fun.  Here's the "town" portion of our layout that we have done so far.

Would I want to have a mini car that I could drive around on there?  Yes, yes I would.

In reply to kazoospec :

I was in the other thread with the broken link thinking, I hope kazoospec sees this, it would be perfect for his awesome train layout!
