I picked up some vintage Italian mirrors at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival on Labor Day weekend. I have no immediate need for them, but they were just way to cool to pass up. I'm trying to figure out who made them. They're very light and have "Made in Italy" cast into the aluminum base. They look like the mirrors that you would find mounted on the front fenders of a Porsche RS or 550, or on an Abarth.

I also picked up a chrome bullet style mirror. This one is easy, as it clearly has Walpres 30560 England cast into it. It's never been installed and the mirror lens is perfect but, unfortunately, there are some cracks in the bullet shaped housing. I actually carried it around for about ten minutes before I even noticed them, but it bummed me out when I did. This one is probably best suited for a vintage beater sportscar, or as a lens donor for someone with a broken one.

So...if anyone can help me identify the red ones, I would appreciate any info, and if anyone can use the bullet mirror, let me know.

I've got one of those bullet mirrors out in the garage. I think it came with a Mini 1000 I bought around 1984.

I could possibly use the Bullet mirror on my '67 Amazon as a leaned back on the side mirror this weekend and sheared it off (Doah)! Can you get a measurement on the bolt spacing?

I think the Abarth mirrors are Vitaloni?

It's about 4 1/2", but there's enough play in them that you could probably cheat about 1/4" in either direction.
