All I have to say is wow. Granted, I am a Corvette guy (first car I owned/drove was a 79 L-48), but I was very impressed with the place. The cars, the displays, etc. It seriously rivaled The Henry Ford Museum in display quality.
BONUS - Earlier this year, The Henry Ford had "Engines Exposed" where they opened the hood on many of their cars, link to my pictures:
My grandfather is from the Corbin, KY area. He's getting up there in age and wanted to attend our family reunion "one more time" as the drive is extremely hard on his knees.
I pitched the idea of taking the Z06 on a "guy's trip" from Detroit to Kentucky, and stopping at the NCM on our way home. We went this past Friday-Sunday. I tried to squeeze in a stop @ Proteam in Napoleon, OH on the way down, but we left quite early.
Put 1200 miles on my Z06 this weekend. That marks over 14000 since last June. Wouldn't consider owning anything else.
