Quite a few developments with the Vitour Tempesta P1 since this thread was made.
Justin Peachey doing quite well with the tire at the first Gridlife event of the season.
Myself and others have done quite a bit of testing. Generally finding the P1 fast lap / run time to be similar to the same size A052. But with better heat tolerance (more flyers/no spraying) and better wear.

Not my CEO, and I am under the impression Roberts involvement in VUD/AVT has scaled back substantially.
In case it isn't clear, Vitour the manufacturer is a company based overseas and the CEO is a man named Jeff Liu. VU Development (primarily an engineering / consulting company) & Americas Vitour Tire (a supplier/distributor for Vitour tires) are primarily operated by Sammy Valafar.
I represent an independent supplier/distributor for the P1 (4Racer Corp dba VitourP1.com / Team Vitour P1) operating seperately from VU Development/Americas Vitour Tire and working directly with Vitour overseas. I do also have access by distribution agreements to AVT's inventory. I am based out of Indianapolis.
I don't have any problem with Andy/GRM or anyone for that matter.
I am also the one (not AVT) who is sponsoring Justin Peachey, Kevin Burke, Cody Puckett and pretty much anyone else who you may know as a sponsored driver that isn't Robert.

Just curious if this comment would have even been made had it not been about Vitours? If Justin was on Yoks or Falkens or Bridgestones... would anyone have cared/noticed?

Well no. But this is literally a vitour tire thread so why would I talk about falkens or yooks in it? He also ran them in a local scca club though. And no one protested him, or banned him. CRAZZZZY
