So close. I'm not digging the over-diametered wheels as much as I could, and the rivet flares don't have quite the right profile. I'm not against the concept of them, but somehow these aren't quite shaped right. And I definitely prefer rivets or box flares to the massively-blended type. Maybe if the fronts had a subtle chin piece that connected across under the bumper...?

I am, however, picking nits to a very high degree here. It's pretty damn cool.

That is gorgeous.

I think I like the obviously-not-original flares. They're very neatly done (I love the little cutout around the marker light in the front) but very obviously not trying to hide the fact that they were tacked on to accommodate the bowel-shaking power that the car was never originally equipped with.

This is my favorite pic... I bet that took some work to do:

I really like this, hence why I posted it; the only thing that really bothers me is the blacked out trim around the headlamps and marker lights. This looks much better in chrome, or at least body color.

This would, however, kick serious ass at a Rallycross event.

That's an attempt to pick up the visual language of the black flares and tie it together. Doesn't bother me. I'd hoon the smeg out of it.

As much as I'd like to bolster my image as a contrarian.......I just can't. That's the berkeleying Mona Lisa of race-oriented resto-mods.

The bar just keeps on rising. The last time I raced e-mod, my fastest competitor was a 160 HP Birkin. Now I'm up against a 265 HP Europa

am I wrong for thinking that I'd prefer that it remained RWD? (which ironically would've involved less effort)

It is a technically impressive achievement, but agreed and agreed.
