I know there is some parts sharing between the Focus/Mazda3/C30 but I've never seen anyone actually take advantage of it. I like it!

Yup with the revoknuckle. I've long been a fan of the T5 AWD manual V50 which viva can make to previous gen RS spec enginewise.

I'd definitely rather have the V50 over the C30. C30 is just a little too small for me.
Oh dear, oh dear. I really didn't need to read this. HAd mine since new, now at 115K miles and going strong but relegated to winter duty. AWD hhmmmmmm.......

It seems as though if you did your own wrenching you could get this conversion done pretty cheaply.

Wrenching easy. Electrons hard.
There was also one built in Massachusetts. They used a custom fuel cell to fix the space issue, but they only could hold 5 or 6 gallons IIRC.
