A little, and I mean little research, shows me that the SHO is only going to be happy with corbeau seats!!! So the question is, I'm lets say large, not huge but I weigh 215lbs and am 5'10", would you go with a wide seat if you were me, oh yeah I'm down 10lbs from the beginning of the year and hopefully going to be at 190 by september, so that's a factor. I was looking at the a4 model (cheapest). So for the driver and passenger total would be around 6-700 ish including brackets. Any thoughts are appreciated, any one know of seats that will fit corbeau brackets. I'm using corbeau brackets cause I don't trust my self to modify "universal brackets" rather safe than sorry right. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/laugh-18.png)
Putting $700 seats in a $500 car seems a little ridonkulous to me...
I'd scrap the SHO and buy a car you actually want. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/wink-18.png)
Shush with your logic, but I mentioned your response to the wife and got a positive reaction![](/media/img/icons/smilies/evil-18.png)
See, now unlike me you have spousal approval, so get a new car!
There's lots of FB RX-7's up here ;)
Don't forget to keep some cash set aside for when my old motorcycle hits the market this Spring.
In reply to Woody: No but I'll meet you to go for a ride sometime :D. Of course CL is being scoured again. Yeah being in the military I get a nice refund ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/wink-18.png)
If I ever get it registered again, I'll meet you half way between Washington and Connecticut.
Ha I'm from DC my wife is from jersey so when I go on mid tour leave from afganistan we'll meet up that should give you time enough to get her running!
So Rx7s are tempting though I fear that engine LOL. Z31s are a car I loved owning, same with my old z28. This won't happen till march after I get back from the desert in California, so I have plenty of time. And actually I hate that sho, I loved my 300zx so many mods to be done, same with the camaro, I'm thinking a forced induction 3.8l rs would be pretty sweet ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/laugh-18.png)

At your size the FX1 sounds like a perfect fit if you can deal with a fixed back fiberglass shell. And in a 4 door car that would be less of a problem. I had an FX1 in my Sentra and I loved it, very comfy for a fixed seat. The miata would have inherited it if I could have closed the door with the window up :).
looks like I'm easily swayed and I really do hate this car, so babe rally anyone? 250, with a parts car!!!
