My sister-in-law has one of those tops on her non-Miata-based Mustang.

The pics are flattering. They are an absolute steaming pile. Horrible.
Not that the top down is good, but this thing has one of the biggest top down:top up aesthetic ratios I've ever seen. That top up view compounds the wrongness so much.
I don't understand why you would want one car that looks like a completely different car.
If you want a Mustang, just get a Mustang.
This reminds me of the good old days when sports car owners waved at each other in passing. A guy in our MG club waved at what he thought was an MG TD at a stop light...until it pulled away and he could hear the VW engine in the back of it. I think he wanted to cut his hand off.
That's what that Mazdstang makes me think of.
