Well, I love to drive and I want to try one of these. I see the Gumball came by my area about 3 months ago, are there any other types of rally like this in New England?
Who has done one of there? what do I need to know?

There are apparently a bunch of those now with various different sorts of groups they attract. Rally North America is supposed to be in New England this year but I think all the spots are sold out already. I'm interested in doing something like Rally North America at some point, from what I've seen it attracts a much more pleasant crowd than Gumball. Basically a scavenger hunt point system that encourages actually going and seeing things rather than just a race between parties. There's also Lemons Rally which actually seems to be run fairly similarly just with more of an older/weirder group of cars.
Never actually done one of these I've just spent a lot of time thinking about it.
If anyone wants to do a Budapest-Bamako with me, lemme know!
Lemons is about to run the 4 Bangors rally that goes through New England. At the least you can try to stop by their evening stop and see how you like it.

Their banner has camels, a 924, and an E36 compact. My curiosity has been piqued. Looks like I'd need dumb car in a shipping container money to go play though.
Peking to Paris scratch the itch? Currently running with vids on YouTube
