The pre-lit ones are so close to a Caterham that parts are interchangeable, but they're a lot cheaper than a Caterham. Plus, I know a few people over there who can check them over for me...

I have to hop over to Europe in about six months anyway for a family visit, so I have this bad idea in the back of my head to arrange for the purchase of a Caterfield, drive it from the UK to Switzerland (possibly via the 'ring), go visit my mum, drive it back and drop it off with the company that shipped my motorcycles over here.

Not sure if my wife is up for that idea, though.
