Just bought a used car out of NJ and have been doing some repairs to it. When changing the front tires the bead area looks to have mold on it and the tires both had a decent amount of water in them. Could this be a sign of a flood car? What say you GRM/

more likely a sign that the previous owner kept it inflated with air from convenience store air hoses... they don't usually have a dryer in the line- if they do they never get drained- and it sometimes resembles a garden hose if you push the little thingie in the chuck down with a car key...

Thanks for the input... makes me feel a bit better. The P.O. burned us on this car so I am suspicious of it now.

yes, those convenience store pumps are terrible for the amount of moisture in them.. though, your case sounds rather extreme
