Those crazy Scandinavians, they're at it again. Usually running obscene amounts of boost through an engine that's swapped into a car that should never have that much power. When you have periods of the year that there is no sunshine, I suppose there is nothing else to do but go into the garage and build something.
This is what happens when you have an old tractor, and an old turbo Volvo sitting around.
tractor hoonage!!
I laughed so hard I cried. WHY CAN'T WE BUILD THESE THINGS HERE!
I laughed as soon as I saw that engine stuffed in there
me too! laughed till it hurt. GF looked at me like I was retarded...she doesn't get it

Lack of creativity? Lack of wanting to do that? Don't live on a farm?
You really think you'll start doing things like that in Scandiavia?
Nobody stopping you from taking any tractor and doing an engine swap. Heck, I've thought about it- mainly from a green aspect (my farmer buddies would like better emissions).
Go for it.

Thanks for the link, this is fantastic. As an old Scandahovian I know we are all nuts-----------
At least he has the wide front on it.... Can you imagine if it had the narrow V front?

Suddenly, anyone with a stock engine in a tractor makes no sense to me.
I can't imagine how that thing feels going down the road at that speed.
Pretty cool. I was reading about this one in Hot Rod at lunch, similar idea:

Simply reference the name "Terror." I was skeptical, but this tractor possesses the answer to farm productivity issues.
I suspect part of the secret is really long winters.
I borrowed a tractor to help build my patio. It wouldn't do this.
I hope that cab is up to modern rollover standards...
That looks like fun!
I have one of those intercoolers in my shed.
My uncle has an Oliver with a 426 hemi, he pulls with it in some classic tractor pulling league. These guys are nuts!

NOW I know where the inspiration for the Delta Wing came from!
All i can think is wait till he brake boosts off the line and actually hooks.
Really be testing the cage than!!

now that is just cool... I would build that and take it to Hotrod shows
That's to get the plowing done in a hurry because, you know, short planting season and all.
But it doesn't look like he needs to pull a plow with those wheels digging like they are.
How to warp your frame. Has nothing to do with tractos, but I stumbled across it after watching that video.

Funny the exhaust is pointing up at the beginning. Sideways at the end.
work with a guy running 30 PSI through a 5.9 Cummins/Fiat in a tractor out of a truck.
Wicked cool

Hah. Yep. You can see it slowly drop right there at the end. Actually its not that slow.
Steering ratio looks hideous!!
