They were working on it. It was a long term build with a guy down here in Charleston. The last I saw it, they were sorting out the rear suspension and building the arms. I'm not sure where it will go from here. Mike was the wiz at building on that car. They were supposed to be picking up a piece of roll bar tube from me next week. I not sure what will happen with it now.
Hell I just talked to him last week, discussing the rebuild on the Jensen. This really does suck. I'm too young to be losing friends and this will be 2 this week, both car guys, both the best kind of people.

Thanks for the update.
He was one of my favorite people on this forum.
He will be missed.
He has a daughter just a couple years over driving age. He built a Saturn Ion for her. My thoughts and prayers go to her and the rest of the family.
That is sad news. As others have already said he will certainly be missed here. I was always a bit envious of his screen name,it was a good choice, especially since he didn't really ever come off as being curmudgeonly.
Wow, he was one of the good guys around here. I thought he posted pretty recently and while I knew he was chronically ill, it didn't seem to be in the foreground.
Now I'll miss a guy I never met, and who may or may not even have noticed my existence. But I sure noticed his.
My most sincere condolences to his family and friends.
For a guy called Curmudgeon he seemed to always have a smile or a laugh going. I'm glad he was with us. I'll miss his presence a lot. Cancer sucks.
I was going back through some of his threads and found this. :~/ Not the happiest of moments but hey...
He called me last year wanting me to find part of his costume. Then the kicker was getting it delivered to the track he was going to be at. I called the track and got the right address...and his costume was complete. Still makes me smile that such a little thing brought so much laughter! Now I just wish I could stop crying about this.
This is truly sad. I didn't know him personally, but based on his posts, this board will never see a man quite like him again
