I subscribe to Motor Trends vids. I like roadkill because a lot of it is low budget stuff. There are educational clips for those not familiar with old v8's but want to know about them (me). I'm not into dirt but DED Fred and Dave are also great. Dulcheck, Tony and Lucky.. all great. I'm not sure what is pay and what is free but there are clips you won't see free. If you are somebody who enjoys their free youtube clips, sign up for a month and check out the rest.
I like 5spd boosted minivans so youtubes boostedboiz for the Odyssey build.
Best MOTOring has some interesting circuit match ups, not alot of english subtitled clips on the youtubes though.

Any channel limited to exotics reviews, not really interested. The Hoon guys is just talking nonsense and burnouts.. which is still not terrible I guess. Same with wheelers and the exotics, not terrible viewing when you're bored. Even if its meh, its still cars. Like pizza. Or sex.
i'm not sure if this has been mentioned but i have the motor trend on demand subscription and it is so worth it!
aside from the obvious roadkill/dirt every day etc there's roadkill garage, roadkill and dirt every day extra, engine masters, house of muscle.
there's also a ton of racing, archive stuff and they just added wheeler dealer and overhaulin.
tons of stuff on there, well worth the $40 or $50 for a year.
No mention of The Hoonigans yet? A wild mix of vehicles show up, from Trophy Trucks to pro drift cars to hot rods and muscle cars to just cool street cars. They have a pretty wide mix of employee-owned vehicles and shop projects. There are wacky games with cars. And their Field Trip and Unprofessional series are pretty sweet too. And sometimes Ken Block just pops in for the day and whips donuts in a Cosworth Escort.
Zygrene is a small time Bay Area Youtuber who does reviews of mostly 80s/90s/00s Japanese/German cars. It's in the owner ride along/aggressive canyon driving format pioneered by The Smoking Tire. Not affiliated, just really enjoy his vids! He has a good amount of track driving experience and offers insightful, detailed commentary.

The amateur Porsche 911 restoration was really cool and the 240z hes doing now is pretty neat too watch too.
I have a love/hate relationship with B is for Build. Sometimes it's fun to watch and other times it really irritates me to watch him cut corners when it isn't that much more work to do something cleanly if he stopped and thought about it. The 2JZ BRZ was a prime example of that with the complete mess of wiring in the engine bay.

Not a YouTube series, and not really about cars. But you can find many episodes of The Reassembler with James May on YouTube. It is fantastic.
The Christmas one where he assembles the Hornby train set is a favorite.
I have to suggest the Cleetus MacFarland channel, not only is he hilarious, but his build of "Leroy the Savage" was the most insane project creep I've ever seen. Now he has a real ex-NASCAR truck that's street-legal, too!
Hoonigan is okay. I've watched Daily Transmission since Episode 1, and there's some really good ones (Larry Chen from Speedhunters bringing the car club byu after JCCS was berkelying *epic*), and a lot of meh ones. They have jumped the shark lately and are doing paid promo stuff, which is lame.
Motor Trend's content has gotten so good that I finally signed up for On Demand. Roadkill and Engine Masters alone are worth it, but Head 2 Had and Junkyard Gold are also fantastic. Dirt Every Day has it's occasional good episode as well.

Not really GRM, but Salomondrin is always entertaining. It's mostly newer high-end cars shot in a vlog format, but the host chemistry is great and I've never been tempted to skip ahead. Think early Clarkson, Hammond and May-era Top Gear on a budget.
The guys at Grand Touring Concepts may be worth a look. A couple of Canadians with a thing for Mustangs and Ladas.
I followed them for the Ivan2104 project, but have found almost everything else amusing or informative.
I'm pretty hooked on the Motor Trend on Demand app/shows. Roadkill was my fav but it seems they are fading a bit these days. They have the Roadkill Garage which is decent as well as the HotRod Garage and Engine Masters. I like more old school muscle stuff. Don't really care for the hoon fests either. :) They also picked up Fast and Loud now too. I know, I know, but they are just entertaining.

they've got some pretty good coverage of the GridLife Time Attack competition... among other topics. Nice focus on cinematography, for the most part... and a bit more down-to-earth than some of the other, lifestyle (?) car channels?

Its hilarious fast and loud is now alongside Roadkill. Finnegan's hate seems pretty genuine towards those guys...
I think all the motor trend guys are getting burnt out from creating content 24/7.
