2015 Land Cruiser has a few oddballs as to be expected...

Cooled center console that gets COLD, has enough power to actively cool something (like room temp water to fridge temp in an hour in a 32oz Nalgene) and is absolutely silent with the lid closed.  Great for keeping some bottles of water or a sandwich cold on a long trip.  Plus it is insulated, so cold stays cold even with the key off.

Really elaborate jack storage in the tailgate

Sliding 2nd row seats that recline almost flat

Crawl control in 4 Low - offroad cruise control

Turn assist in 4 Low  - locks inside rear wheel when turning to spin the vehicle on its' axis.

My old 2006 LC had a switch in the glovebox that let you select between summer and winter tires - two sets of TPMS sensors could be learned at once.  That was a nice feature.

I think it's a bottle opener.  How cool would that be?

Thanks to this thread I have purchased a SAAB cup holder with no idea what to do with it. He'll, I pride myself on my cars lack of cup holders but that is just too cool

My 93 Mercedes 400E (and I think all W124 chassis cars) has a button on the dash that will flip the rear seat headrests down so that you can see behind you better. Neat feature, however I wish it would flip them back up too. Nobody really thinks about headrests, until you get rear ended.

In reply to TheRyGuy :

That feature would be even cooler if, as you said, the headrests went back up, but ALSO, if they automatically did that when put into reverse and then into a forward gear. Just have some silly mechanism for detecting when the seat belts are clicked. Then they get disabled. And when those scaliwags in the back seat don’t click it, the car punishes them with a head down motion until the driver begins moving forward.

88 Subaru had a little green light built into the key, and had clutch hill start assist.

14 Grand Cherokee has a hill descent feature. Using the paddle shifters to change speeds. 1st gear is 1 kph (0.6 mph), 2nd is 2 kph....8th is 8kph
