Ahhh, Sunday... My one day of the week that I am not beholden to my Italian and German overlords. The only day of the week that I can go to my shop and play with my project-car.
But thanx to someone's inability to enter my address onto a shipping label correctly, I now need to find something else to do with my day off.
What really sucks, is that I ponied-up the extra $$$ for expedited shipping, only to have my parts hung-up at the UPS depot 20 minutes from my house, while UPS waited for the vendor to supply them with a correct address. :-(
Sorry for the rant, but I'm kinda grumpy right now.
Call the folks that did the shipping and ask for your money back for the expedite at least.
I had a similar issue when I put new struts/shocks/springs on my car. I already had the old parts off, patiently awaiting new to arrive the Friday before I actually had a full weekend off. I wouldn't have SWMBO's car to drive after the weekend, so I had to have my car back together. The springs were shipped "signature required," and no one was home when they arrived. By the time I got home UPS' warehouse/distributor was closed. I was livid! I put all the old parts back on my car, picked up the springs at UPS after work on Monday, and did the work a couple weeks later when I had time again.
I did get my shipping cost, and some money back for my trouble after emailing the place I bought them from about my frustration. No where did they ever mention that the parts were shipped signature required, or else I would have shipped them to work.
I know, "cool story bro," I just feel your frustration.

There is your problem... Tempting fate will always get you a E36 M3 sandwich, boy.

Yeah, I'm going to call the vendor tomorrow. I logged into my account with them, and all of my contact/ship-to info is correct. Apparently they forgot to put the street number on the label.
The money part really doesn't matter to me, I have money. What I don't have is a lot of is free time, so I haz a sad over not having my stuff to play with today.
Big-picture, it's really not that big of a deal... This car is quickly approaching its 3-year anniversary of being torn apart for a quick 3-week "refresh".
On the bright side, I think I just found a way to pass my time today... The inter-webs can always use one more person bitching about trivial matters!!!
