Had a YJ in the shop today. Dad brought it by after Junior had bought it- said it was kinda funny to drive in 4wd. 3:55's in the front diff and 3:08's in the back will do that...He never mentioned the total lack of rear brakes.

Easy fix. You just need to change the tire diameters, put the tall ones on the rear.

You could use different size wheels and tires to compensate.

I imagine not too badly in 2wd... but I bet it would break something quickly in 4wd

I know someone that put a Legacy auto trans in an SVX, because they couldn't find one out of an SVX. He didn't realize they use different gear ratios. That transmission didn't last very long.
