You guys may have seen this, but I happened across it, and believe its is the finest bit of kit I've seen in a very long time.

Am I the only one that cant stand Jay Leno? The guy always interrupts people and doesnt even let them talk.
There are few of his videos I'd love to watch but never do because I cant stand the guy.
The only one I was able to see the whole way was Tim Allen's Camaro. Possibly because I like Tim and loved his Camaro.

I can tolerate him as long as he lays off the politics. He has too many cool mechanical things for me. One of my favorite shows was when he did steam engines.

I like Jay a lot. But yes, he interrupts too often and also asks/comments seemingly without really having done his homework. But hey, that's me nitpicking.

I think Jay is a decent dude. We all have bad habits in conversation, but his aren't particularly terrible. Just think of him as another one of us car geeks and it'll make more sense to you I think.

I really hope this is true.
And I also really hope if I ever get to sit in a car with Jay that I have the cajones to tell him he's not using the brakes correctly!!

What does he do that's incorrect? I don't think I've seen any videos that show his feet.

I guess he got that habit from being on network TV where he has to cram an anecdote between commercial breaks.
A few years ago I saw an S600 on ebay that was left hand drive, I haven't seen another one since.

He just started a "build thread" for the S600 on the 22nd of last month.
Also props to GRM Crew for the new search function. I was able to find that thread with a simple "S600" search.

I was the first post after yours. Love the car. Jay has another cool vid featuring an older VW bug that has a rotary in it. Similar vibe to this Honda.

I like Jay, but Tim Allen not so much. Guess You can't please everyone.
I also own two BMWs so am an idiot according to recent threads.

If you watch the video, the car owner tells Jay at one point "don't be afraid to use the brakes"
Dang, Jay seems to be the example of GRM guy to me. He just doesn't buy and repair cars that are worth a lot of money, he also has some just neat stuff. Yes, he does interrupt and also ask questions that have just been answered, but all in all he's a net positive for the community. And to be honest, after watching probably 50 of his episodes I have no idea what his politics are: but even if he was the opposite end of the spectrum from me, I'm not sure what bearing that would have on the car stuff.
I wonder what's the upper limit on what motor you can shove into these tiny things. What about a J-series V6? Could this chassis swallow one without having to have it's firewall chopped?
Well, I guess I'm back to wanting a bike-engined car. That thing is so rad and makes all the right sounds.

He really seems to have left the politics on the Tonight Show, where it has thrived.
My biggest complaint about Jay now is he tries too hard to make everything a joke.
I can't say that I love Jay's style, per se, but I do love the cars and the stories behind them. Plus, I kinda feel like when there's a decent car themed show (as opposed to faked drama for some expensive build that only a few can afford), I give it a chance to encourage more of it. Whether it's on TV or the web.

Every last one of these things needs a cbr 1000rr-r swap so god damn bad. (Yes three RRRs because that is the newest sickest one with 214hp).

Tonight Show hosts have been making political jokes in their monologues since Jack Paar, and they're about whoever happens to be in office at the time - democrat or republican. It's part of the job description. Jay was one of the milder ones, especially when compared to the late show hosts today.
