I think I've finally decided what direction I'm going to go with the Trooper, and it's Turbo! Well, Turbodiesel that is. Over the summer I plan to swap in an Isuzu 4JG2 3.1 liter Turbodiesel.

Here's my question: what company do I buy from? I hear Guido likes Tiger JDM... I'd like to avoid an experience like that if possible.

yeah, i'd avoid guido too.

keep on eye on ebay for import sellers... check out reps... once you feel confortable with a seller... ask him to get you what you want........

I know every site has at least one guy that will roast you alive for mentioning tiger, but my friends and I have never had any issues with them at all

I've used Nagasaki up in Canada and have no complaints. Give them a call.

There are lots of JDM engine/front cut importers in Montreal (like Nagasaki above), but I think there are probably more in Vancouver, BC.

Know anyone in the Philippines? Tons of those trucks over there (and mitsu's, etc) and stuff is CHEAP thanks to the mess the previous governments have left the place in.
