I don't think you should get it.  I don't think you have the skills to complete it, nor the creativity to make it epic.  (Thinking a little reverse psychology will help  )

And those aren't potato pictures.  Owner just had troubles keeping up with how fast that car is just standing still to take a clear picture.

To get something like that home, I would use my $100 per year AAA membership that tows 4 times per year and up to 100 miles each tow.  For the AAA driver's paperwork he will need a valid license plate number to put on his paperwork.  So, drive out to see the Javelin.  Bring with you a valid plate off any car you currently own.  Exchange the cash then call AAA and wait the 15 minutes to two hours for the AAA truck to arrive.  Start with handing the driver a $20 and ask him to be careful with it.  

Drive yourself home and shortly after you arrive, the AAA truck will be pulling in right behind you.  Cost of tow $100/4 = $25 per tow and a $20 tip = $45...cheap.  Even cheaper than renting a Uhaul trailer for $60 per day.

You will find details of my creative AAA use in this thread.   Yes, also since, I had two cars delivered to Pat on the same day for about 70 miles, one way, each.  Since the two were both rwd the driver didn't load them in one trip like flatbed one and two wheel tow the other.  I think the "paid by the hour" driver was just happy to drag the day out on two really easy trips.  He probably had 1.5 hour to each leg of the trip.  Factor in load and unload and he was near 7 hours just for those two.   That was also 7 hours that I got back too!

Nope. Not worth it. No Vin, the cage was sketchy and 30 years old, and it was beat to hell like every small town circle track car.

Makes since. I used to run a AAA wrecker. I moved a 64 ford wagon to three different houses. Project car and the owner kept moving.
