We're at the northern edge of the blizzard but I had to bring the dog to the vet this morning and I wanted to keep the appointment. I was driving the truck through Westport at about 25mph in 4wd on a narrow, winding, unplowed road in near whiteout conditions. Coming toward me from the opposite direction was a guy in a new Bentley coupe.

I see that they weigh over 5,000 pounds. Good for snow traction?

I grew up in that area... It's amazing to see what people will drive in the winter down there. Heck, I've seen Ferraris out in the snow...

It's strange, because the poor people in Bridgeport are all driving around in 10 year old BMWs and Mercedes.

Please no selfies while driving in the snow & a whiteout! People who do it are dry days wander around on the road enough.

I worked with a guy who daily drove his newer 911 (cabriolet, AWD, manual). Snow tires and all in the winter.

I have driven a AWD Porsche 996???? (it was a while ago) in the snow and it was actually fun.

996s are pretty decent in snow when you don't have to dodge iced up snow blocks falling off pickup trucks (don't ask). Unfortunately these days it's not that easy getting snow tires for them.

Back in 2003 when it was brand new I saw a 996 GT2 (RWD remember ) in winter. That's close to 500 hp

All that weight on the back wheels helps with traction. A lot, actually.
