This is sort of the anti flush, anti dub look.
I can definently say I like the looks of the red car. But I really have a soft spot for Continentals. That one is entirely too low though. It has been my favorite old car since the remake of Mod Squad.
better to paint aluminum than to go with big steelies. i bought a set of aftermarket "Corvette" steel rally wheels in 16x7, and they weighed about 30# each. I sold them and went back to the 14x7's.
Deep dish wheels, I really miss the 80's sometimes. Yes that red car is sot on in the looks department.

That is awesome!

Those wheels on the Chevelle are actually aluminum painted red.
My neighbor had a '66 Chevelle SS396 in that same color when I was a kid. At least it started out that way; he painted it blue later.

Hey that's my first car! My 66 was a coupe though, not a post. My car was considerably less nice......well, it was nice in that it waved at everyone, but that was just the Bondo talking....

This is enough to make me change my plans for the Caddy.
To me it's just the hunkered down and ready for some road course action look. It's bout the only "look" that makes sense to me.

Ugh, its some of those stupid stance VW kiddies.
How is that anti flush or anti dub? The wheels are tucked and they're likely 20" or more in diameter.
Mind you, I know nothing of hella flush or whatever it's called. Just googled it - it's a camber thing too, eh? Too showy not enough go-y for me anyway.
Low profile tires just look wrong on a muscle car to me.
The Lincoln is nice though.

There's an abandoned blue one not terribly far from my place, maybe 4-5 miles. ROUGH 'hood, though.

Even outside the looks I love the way that car was built. Swapped the big block out for a 7500 rpm 302 Chevy, tubular control arms, corrected geometry, bare bones options, 5 speed stick, manual steering/brakes/windows.
The wheels are custom "Schotts."
