XJ thread got me thinking...
Most wagons I've run into don't go much above a class 1 or 2 hitch.
Are there any wagons that will tow a trailer with a 3000 lb car on it?
Any that aren't a Caprice?

3,000lb car plus trailer and you are quickly looking at a need for 4,500lb towing capability. That will often lead you to cars that have a full frame so then it is old Chevy/Ford/Chrysler, etc.
This, in wagon form?

(only rated to 3300)

No. I'll watch.
There's a place near me (Oshawa ON) that appears to have two Fleetwood hearses and one Roadmaster hearse from those years available right now. IIRC, silver and white, not black. Let me know if anybody wants more details.
The universal answer for towing is..... an older 'Burb. Tons of room to haul Mama, the kids, pit crew, tools, gear. Cheap to fix, lots of boneyard parts. Enough towing capacity to pull a house, really.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLlj4CPIvJs&feature=related

Haha.
But really though, I think you are going to have to look at either older wagons like these, gigantic SUVs like a Suburban, or a cross-over SUV. Newer wagons are not body on frame design and typically are not designed to tow well.
Hell, you could even get a minivan if you aren't afraid of having your testicals revolked.

My first thought when I saw the title was one of these:
Doesn't fit the OP's detailed requirements though.

Yeah, even modern mid-sized trucks with 300lb ft V6s are only rated for 5500-6000.
