On wednesday, my SCCA region had our general membership meeting at the Roush Museum in Livonia, MI
we were aloud to wander around before and after the meeting...I saw these two cars and could not place them....all I can tell is that they are mid engined, they are longer than Fiero's, and they had Mercury symbols on the steering wheels...the black one appeared to be a few years newer.
any ideas?
I can't see the pic...
But it almost sounds like you're describing a Capri...
Except for the mid engined part.
they look like a firebir...no a fier...no a ferrar...geezs I cant tell...

It looks like a pantera of some sort. Kinda looks like a pantera and a firebird got busy.
EDIT: Wait... is pantera the model, or the make? De Tomaso?

Ford GN34
Was supposed to be a mid-engined SHO V-6 powered sports car in the mid-80's. It was scrapped, and we got the Taurus SHO instead.

You sure about the Mercury logo on the wheel? Could it have been something else similar?
I don't recall any mid-engined Mercurys (even prototypes)
How many of you just Googled that?

That's so weird, Winding Road Magazine just did an article about these cars this week. Is it GN34 revival week?
