The original radiator was too rusted out, so I bought a brand new one with a factory part number on it. It lasted about 1k miles before it started leaking. Now its leaking enough its time to replace it again. Has anyone found any better quality replacements that seem to work well?
As I understand it, the parts store plastic tank rad market is kinda cornered right now and they're all questionable quality. I forget by who. Unless you can get a radiator for it built by Denso, Koyo, or any other real actual OE BUILT, NOT REBOXED rad. full aluminum seems to be the way to go now, the cheap ones can at least be repaired easily.
Pretty much all new replacement plastic radiators suck. Bad. I've had 4 in my MX6, and now just make sure i keep the receipt and plan on replacing the radiator every 8 months.
Hmm, are there any decent aluminum ones that someone already makes to fit?

I ran a Mishimoto direct replacement in mine. Fit well, cooled very well, and seemed to be of good quality for about the same price as a "quality" factory replacement.
Go to a 2gn Koyo? Call C&R? They used to make a 1gn rad.
Bear of Window Weld along the seam?
What sucks is Advance used to sell Visteon radiators. Now, they're almost all the re-boxed Chinese E36 M3.
