I can't believe that no one said action figures yet ...
Tire gauge.
Tasteful t-shirts with a small front logo and no sweat inducing art on the back. Similar to the original one.
Magnetic racing signs.

I like this. It would be sort of like rank emblems that martial arts places sell to kids
...and +100 for Challenge DVDs. I have one DVD and one VHS from long ago. Pretty cool stuff.

Okay, I'd get a hat or a sticker to show off my dork-ness.
I have several GRM shirts, but I'd be more inclined to wear them in mixed company if they didn't have the word "Hardcore" on them.
I get it, but it has a pretty negative connotation to those who aren't in the loop.

That's a totally different DVD.....That would probably sell well, too, though.
How about teaming up with the pay to play software people (say the turner studio people for instance) and give us a discount for purchasing it and then have the GRM logo on the screen when we use it?. Or it unlocks some super secret tuning software or something.
Or GRM logoed MS box's. You could have a "mega grassroots squirt" ok that sounds wrong I admit it but you get the idea.
Merchandise is a tough game. If you get into weird stuff you could be stuck with it.
I would recommend a couple of sizes of Grassroots Motorsports banners.
Keep a low inventory and if nothing else, you can use them yourselves at events. Get them from a source that allows for small orders so you never have to have too many on hand.
In addition to selling the banners, you are also moving forward the brand. I will bet there are dozens of people here, myself included, that would pay up to $25 for a good size banner to hang in their garage. Maybe offer multiple sizes. Maybe something smaller for inside a covered trailer.
Get creative. Maybe a Start/Finish banner.

Totally. I'm also lobbying for an inflatable couch--you know, for my dorm.
Model car decals! 1/24 - 1/25th scale. GRM numberboards, GRM bumper stickers, the windshield banner, the stickers from the challenge, and maybe some big logos to use on scale race cars. Should be easy and cheap to do!

Margie told me they can't get rid of the ones they have ... ( white can be bleached ....)
+1 for coffee mugs. A regular white or black ceramic mug that simply states "Grassroots Motorsports" would be great. I'm super picky about my travel mug; I have a super fancy insulated spillproof dealio already.

If they're hissing cockroaches AND have the GRM logo permanently attached/embossed/embroidered, then yeah, count me in.
Otherwise 1000% on the GRM duct tape and boonies hat!!!
