2005-6 volvo v70r for the SUV A really really good low miles one with just the right options for 15k
2006 mimi coopr s for the DD decent for 10K
An FSR would be fun but good luck.. ditto various mid 2000s Subies.

Elise - but it I'm not so sure these will go much lower before they start appreciating - I'd also love to have a ferrari/dino 308 gt/4 - they may have already hit bottom and started on the climb. Other than a gt/4, about the last shot at a 20k non-project ferrari is a mondial which is not as pretty as a gt/4, but a better built car. I also have a soft spot for mondi coupes since seeing a very attractive young lady blasting around Paris (the city, not the walking std) in one a few years ago.
Budget has gone up for me in the last couple weeks, its been a really good year, most of these are for resale in 1-2 year ownership like I normally do.
BRG Vantage Manual 06/07. Mid 60k's for a properly sorted one sub 20K miles and I might jump. Saddle interior even better. Silver might be a better long term buy but I love the green. The last four I have looked at have been busts when inspected.
Bentley GTC in Silver-lake. Sub 85K, I really like this car. At 85K I can think of no other boulevard cruiser that I would want. I bought one for a client about two months ago and it was just a blast to drive. Mind you I look like someones assistant when I am driving it but...
I like this and the spur the standard GT is just kind of eghh for me. I just did an inspection on a 07 GTC in Silver-lake and magnolia with extended wood and upgraded blue top and the factory 20 five spokes in chrome at 93K asking. Buyer passed when someone else found him a much lower mileage car for more money but it haunts my dreams.
But I really want a Morgan Aero 8 in two tone with updated headlamps. Needs to drop another 20K minimum off pricing I have seen but man I could see myself actually owning it for a long long time.
There are some cars, E30 M3, Elise, GT3, etc that because so few were produced will likely never fall below $5,000, even 20 years from now.
I'm patiently awaiting the day when the 2010-12 SHO drops below 15k........I missed out on the cheap Mazdaspeed 6's(back in 2008 they were 13-16k), and I know the sho's will plummet, because well.......its still a taurus
In reply to PHeller:
E30 M3 is a cult car, from BMW, they'll only go up in price now.......too many a$$holes have too much money to throw at them. I'd buy an E36 M3 while they're cheap now or wait a few years and get an E46 M3 when they bottom out in price....

I'm getting the impression that the prices on good examples are actually slowly creeping up.
Elise
Though to be honest, by the time they are importable into Canada, I probably wont be able to get in and out of one.
I'm waiting for this to be in my price-range:

Have you looked at the prices on these lately? They've come down a LOT since the new 5.0s came out.

By the time that gets into your price range, making it run again will be out of your price range.
CTS-V, preferably the new wagon, but the 1st gens are already pretty cheap, and the 1st-gen Mazdaspeed3.
Actually, a 1st-gen Honda Fit. Those other two cars will cost too much to run, and I need something with stupid amounts of space while getting good MPG.

I'll just drop an LS3 in it. Isn't that the solution to everything?
Infiniti G35 may be close to my price range already.
The FRS / BRZ is definitely one I'd be interested in.
Also wondering when we'll start to see ex-police Chargers, and what engines they came with. Those cars look seriously menacing with their huge blacked out steel rims.
