Too late, they started going back up in prices.
I've been thinking a lot about the Z4 M-coupe. Love the styling, but didn't realize how few were made. Seems like a practical car for a single guy who hauls more stuff than people.

for me it is the porsche cayman. when they drtop below$20k, i will own 9one. i was waiting for the Cadillac CTS-V, but then i figured out i could build one cheaper than jIcould buy one, I already have the LS6.0 V8, now I just hsave to find a cheap, f-ed up base model CTS

A better game would be "how long till the car you want becomes the car you can afford".
STI - under $5000 - At least another 5-8 years.
Genesis Coupe under $5000 another 8 - 10 years?
BRZ - under $5000 - 15 years maybe more?
Lately, I've been jonesing for a Cayenne GTS (6 speed manual). They're getting close to what I'd consider affordable...
The E30 M3 is on that list too.
