Ok. Jeeps are probably out of the conversation. Still a nice try though!

Came in here to say this. Not the longest run, but surprising.
It's one of the reasons we got a 5th gen 4runner (the FJs cousin)....such a long production run is great for reliability and parts availability.

For sheer numbers of production the original VW Beetle passed up the Model T which was the previous record holder.
in contrast, the longest production vehicle ever made was The 1974 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 at 252 inches long.
Also some truly great cars not mentioned on here for long production runs. Nothing will beat The Beetle or the Mini; but:
- Mercedes R107 - '71-'89
-Range Rover - '70-'96
- Jeep Grand Wagoneer - '63-'91
- Mk2 Jetta - '83-2013 (well in China they got it until 2013)
- Mk1 Golf - '74-2009 (South Africa)
A couple of outliers;
Datsun 1200 Sunny pick-up/Ute/Bakkie was made from 1971 - 2008
Citroen 2CV 1948 to at least 1990.
Ford Econoline/E-Series maybe?
3rd gen 1975-1991, 4th gen using largely the same chassis from 1992-present (some chassis upgrades have been made since 1992, but still)

If we're taking fun cars... 911 '63 to '89. And after that a lot of 964 ('89 - '93) and 993 ('94 - '98) parts are compatible with each other and the older cars. Biggest difference between 911 and 964 was ditching the torsion bar suspension (and the addition of an all wheel drive model), and then iirc the 993 was largely just a facelift. The 996 was the first even remotely clean sheet design, and even then the turbo and gt3 engine cases through the 997.2 era (final year 2012) are essentially identical to the old air cooled engine cases.
Morgan 4-4 production began in 1936. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_Motor_Company#4%E2%80%934
Honda 50 step thru motorcycle ,
VW Bug
Citroen 2CV
Fiat 1100 which turned into Indian Taxi
the Vespa 3 wheelers , started in Italy , moved to India production
probably some Russian Lada or local made Russian car
Ford Capri - 1969 to 1987. US got the car from 1970 to 1978. Biggest change was going from a trunk to a hatchback setup in 74 ROW, 76 USA. I would like another mk1.
I don't believe the 300C/Charger/Challenger have changed at all since they were introduced in I think 04 or 05?
Someone on Youtube has recently taken an '06 (?) Magnum and has swapped/is swapping exterior, interior, and drivetrain from a Hellcat and it all just about lines up perfectly.

I want to say my 61 convertible was 222 inches long and my 57 is 218 last time I measured. How the hell did anyone park those things.
Are we talking just the name, or the vehicle construction, or both.
You have
A) names that have been around, but the car behind the badge has changed drastically
B) platforms that have been around, but have had different names
C) platforms AND names that have stuck together
For instance, A) the Buick Riviera name has been around since the 50s, but it has been on about 6 different platforms. Contrast that with something like the B) Fox Body platform was around for decades, but it carried a dozen different model names. Or then there's C) The VW Beetle had both the same name AND platform for a million years.
Then of course we get into "what constitutes the same platform?" For instance, GM's A-body was both an intermediate RWD body-on-frame, and an intermediate FWD unibody. Corvette's Y-body went through some crazy changes; transverse leaf, coil spring, fiberglass on subframe, perimeter frame... Needless to say, a C3 shares almost nothing in common with a C4 or C5, but they're all Y-bodies.
If we're going for everything the same-same, I might have to throw a vote for GM B/D-body. 64-97 the frame was basically the same with slight changes to wheelbase and little differences, AND names like Caprice, Roadmaster, Impala, Custom Cruiser, Parisienne, and Fleetwood all carried through.
Has no one mentioned the Mustang? The Fox body ran from 1979-1993 and while the 1992-2004 looked different many mechanical parts will interchange.
As noted before, tbe Citroen 2CV is like a tin roach (snail?) that took forever to eradicate. And yes, I would like to own one someday !

If you include pickup trucks, a new Chevy 3/4 ton crew cab pickup with a long bed is 266 inches long.
