Off-lease RS3, full stop, why this a question?
Modern Audi luxury, 5 cylinder howl, sub-4 seconds to 60, legit 12 second car. And it looks like a Jetta.
This plus an extended warranty.
This would also be my choice. More grown-up than a boost buggy..........and that sound, that engine is so glorious.
I got to be honest, there's nothing I'd spend $50k on.
Option one: Put $15k into the truck to make it perfect. Put $5k into the tib to make it a great GLTC car/one lap/tires and brakes and fuel budget, spend $5k on her truck to fix the rust and CEL and buy the wife a nice new Elantra DD for the remaining $20k.
Option two: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/808085046/overview/ buy this and spend $15k on tune, exhaust, wheels/tires and suspension.

Beautiful car, I'd love one, but from everything I've seen and read suggests they are the one vehicle that from new makes a 30 year old neglected Biturbo with no maintenance look like a reliable alternative.
Is it my only car? Or do I get to add it to the cars I have?
If I get to add it to the cars I already have, Caterham Seven 420 with SV kit.
If it is the only car, used Alfa Guilia Quadrifoglio or Maserati Quattroporte GTS. Assuming I have the money to cover maintence costs.
I started this thread yesterday and then I have been watching it on my phone. Finally got a chance to look through it on my PC at the office and the photos are just fantastic to look at. Thanks everyone for posting up and keep them coming!!! Probibly let this run a day or so more (or untill it drops off the 1st page) and then we can pick a new price point. I am thinking 10K

Choices are not supposed to make sense or god forbid be responsible. All answers are correct. It is the posters choice. There is no judging others in this thread.
I kind of want one of these. Not sure it is 50K but why not.
Yes it is a daily drivable Weiner Mobile.
Factory Five 32 Ford with fenders and hardtop.

why not the g70?
Styling. Purely aesthetics. I love the stinger, only like the G70.
$50k should about do it....

I'll bet you would have a hard time finding a nice one for $50K.
i fear a lot of these $50K choices would cost another $50K to make it to 100,000 miles. LOL

The chances are probably better than the chances of me buying a $50k car.

If I was going to spend a full $50K on one car I think it would be hard for me to pass up on a C7 Grand Sport. That's a lot of performance for the money.
Speaking of Corvettes, I looked on Craigslist for cars up to $50,000, and these two ads were next to each other:
Both Corvettes, same price, but one is more than 40 years newer!

Theres one other guy on the board with one-can't remember his name right now.
I'm hoping to bring it up for Radwood. Originally intended to ask Tom if we could run it in expo but probably wont have time to install baffled oil pan. The C30 engines are getting expensive to replace =P

LOL, yeah I figured while we were fantasizing my fantasy would include one of those not aggravating me while simultaneously draining my wallet.
Also, you saw my other choice so I can't claim to be a wise man.
Oh, practicality, reliability and maintenance are off the table?
Well then, I'm changing my vote to a PA28-180 or a C172.
I would have voted for a C177 Cardinal, but they are a little above $50K

Same here. I remember on a thread here a while back it was mentioned how the Stinger's styling was somehow polarizing, but the G70 got a pass and I was totally confused. It's too bad, because the G70 looks great until you get to the grill. The acceptance of oversized hideous grills in this world baffles me. The Stinger looks great from nearly every angle. I'd love to have one.

I think Sonic may have one? Maybe?
It looks like Audi R8s can be had for $50K now. Do want.
