I had a Sunrise Red Escort GT, which oddly enough was neither red, nor looked like any sunrise I've witnessed. It was definitely a polarizing color though.

Known to the P71 community as Cancer White, due to the fact that it starts with noticeable imperfections and goes downhill from there .

Red, magenta, close enough.
Trans Am Red, which was neither used on Trans Am Javelin race cars (Matador Red was AMC's color in the RWB scheme), nor actually red (it matches Chevrolet Orange Red engine paint perfectly).
