So I finally got my new wheels in.

17 x 8 Works Emotion CR Kais, ET 25, going to put 235/40/17 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs on them.

Unfortunately there was some damage to the finish during shipping so I'm going to have them refinished. The current color is a matte gun metal/antracite color. That's what I'll stick with if I don't get any better suggestions or cool photoshops!!!!

I like them. I wouldn't change them at all. It is tough to find something that goes with a Gold car.

I like them in the color they are now. I think it'd look great on gold.

I like them that color. I think you should get some fender flares, they look like they're stick out of the wheel wells a little...

just kidding.

I was so confused why those wheels had those other spokes in the background. Weld them together!

Hahahaha!!!!

If I was going to flare the fenders I could go like 285/30/18 on this car!!!!

According to the research I've done with an E30 fitment specialist, this wheel/combo will sit nearly flush with the fender and put LOTS of tire on the ground.

Should be an even bigger blast than the car already is!

I'm with all of you on refinishing them the same color, just wanted to check.

lol

I agree-they look fantastic as-is.

There is an E30 at my local skatepark (owned by a gearhead pro skater) which is that color and has gold oldschool mesh wheels on it--looks killer, FWIW.

Gloss black would look nice, too. Neutral color is hard to go wrong with.

I'd vote for gold is the car wasn't a similar color... I dunno, that current gunmetal finish is hard to beat.

^Yeah if my car wasn't bronzit, I'd probably be looking at that dark matte bronze color as well.

Or a blue like the valve stems.

Keep the gunmetal! Oh and I hope those flip flops aren't holding your car from rolling into the neighbors yard:omg:

What about the same gunmetal color with a polished lip? Not sure how that would look, just a thought.

^I think that would work if the wheels had a bigger lip, these basically have no lip, not sure if you can tell that from the straight on pics.
