Difficult to park. Horrible highway fuel economy. OTOH.. throw in a cassette toilet and a foam mattress and presto, cheap RV registration.

Make a toy hauler/Columbus chipper saw massacre parts recycler out of it. The diesel alone may worth it. Kinda looks like a Ford front end though.

Airplane! is a national treasure.
One of my fondest memories was that of my grandmother, in the last year of her life, watching Airplane! and laughing with gusto. I know she had seen the movie before - hell, it was one of my grandfather's favorite movies - but it made me feel good to hear her enjoying it so much.
I got a response back to my inquiry about the roadworthiness of this majestic machine. It has not been run in a year and needs a tune up. This does nothing to dissuade me from looking at it.
