In general I've avoided Audis, but have an application that might be well suited to a 4 banger/012 transaxle combo. Doing a quick internet search tells me that they have good power potential. Being German I expect high parts prices, and being an Audi I expect needless complexity. OTOH they've made tons of them, so used parts are probably abundant. What's the skinny?
