I had a 750 sitting in the driveway for some time. Still have the car rail...

I like it!

Pretty.
Yamaha 1300 from the GSX1300R or Hayabusa...?
That would be a cool 170+ HP in stock form. That kart weighs what? 150lbs?
Oh. Note the extreme angle on the front wheels. I designed that for snow, not speed. Snow drift cart.
Won't take much for that thing to go fast...I'd just be trolling Craigslist for a busted lawn tractor or dirt bike. If you need more oomph, just put 2 on there!
Come get this mostly complete K8 out of my garage. It'll cost you a 6 pack of beer and a 4 hour trip.

Argh, where were you when I was thinking piston engine for the RX-7?
I love the sound of K8s.

Good call. Its got a sled clutch.
You're down in the weight range where engine weight matters a LOT.
VM 125 CZK is right around 50 lbs for 35 horsepower. That's all-inclusive, everything but the gas tank and pump.
The less the engine weighs, the lower your CG will be, the less weight transfer you'll get, and the faster you'll corner.
