Not sure how I feel about this.

I was about to comment that this was already posted by Flyin Miata, but was I ever wrong. I like how they are mating them better.
Opus, I didn't think about the current LSx swap that Keith posted. Just a coincidence!
This is the bad that can happen when the two cars mate. What FM is doing would be the good.
I actually wanted to do a cove like that in white vinyl for the side of a red Solstice, just to see how it would look. Didn't end up buying the car though, and now I don't need to wonder anymore either.

Yeah, is that green masking tape?
People do all sorts of weird things to Miatas, like any of these: http://www.paul-davis.com/miata.html#anchor_morphed
Some of those Miatas are really impressive. I love the idea of making a little replica of a Mustang or an Aston, its like having a 3/4 scale version. There's also what looks like a white coupe but is probably a custom hardtop, but it looks awesome. I always thought Mazda should have made a coupe, but I guess it might take some RX sales away.

I was thinking the same thing. Think if I do the same thing to my 99 I could get 38 mpg also?

I think this is the one you're talking about. These two Miata's make me happy in my pants.
Not sure if anybody is interested in it or not, but I found the page where they sell that fastback kit. Pretty spendy, but it does look cool.

The Miata didn't invent the two-seater convertible either, in case anyone was wondering :) Doesn't mean the execution can't be good. Personally, I prefer the 1996 show car. It had an organic flow to it that hasn't shown up in others.
I'm not 100% sure how putting a big dent in the side of a Miata makes it a Corvette hybrid, but whatever. Full points for having a vision and going for it.

Anybody have the specs on the Black one?
I'm at half mast just looking at it.

Maybe not. I was thinking the same thing. A Corvette with a 116 hp 1.6 Miata engine?! Amazing!
