Frankly...you're in a different league now. You'll have fun, but you'll spend most of your time running alone (way ahead of the junkers) or stopping and waiting for other people to drive by so you can pass them again.
I wish I had time/focus/$ to put a drivetrain and cooling system into this so I could bring it out:

I hope that Cavalier travels in the trailer shown behind it. The bars on the sides of the trailer would make the car look liked a caged wild animal.
I agree completely. If this thing shows up in the cage I will post some pics.
Here's our course as it sits today:
You can tell in the southeast corner where we sometimes go through the trees. The rut there got too bad so we bypassed it this year (pulled the corner up before the trees).
You're looking at roughly 40 acres in that photo. There are no fewer than 20 vehicles located there near the "A" marker.

Dear Bob, yes! If I was your buddy I would be there every damn weekend, and probably divorced, too. Words can't describe the envy.
What racing started out and where it needs to take a couple steps closer to.
It sure it is a lot of fun. Cheap cars racing around with a little bump and rub. Good times...
Dropped the car off today. That was my landlords trailer, so no it didn't show up looking like a caged wild animal. Would have been a nice touch though. Took her for a few laps and had a blast spending most of the solo run sideways letting the front tires pull me sideways. Really ground up some dirt getting things ready for everybody else this month.
Unfortunately I forgot to turn on the fan and blew a coolant hose off. I'll bring a new hose to install and boil the radiator. Fortunately my wife got the shot.
Here's your angry animal shot:
A bit late, but there will be more. There. Will. Be. More.
Nice, got any onboard video?
No automatic fan turn on ?

Look at that car, that would be considered a luxury feature on such a thing

LOLZ. There are two switches. Ignition and fan. Guess which one I forgot to turn on.

Unfortunately the camera was dead, but it wouldn't have been onboard. Still working on that one.

Bet he forgot to turn it ON
Very funny smartass.
Oh yea. Thanks to Keith Tanner for donating all those stickers.
Awesome Sperlo! I am going to put a fuel pump in my new stead and how she fires up. Looking forward to the fun in a couple weeks.
I'll be out early to attach new parts and check for any overheating damage. Won't stay overnight though.

I'm very jealous. I should have held out for more property.
So this is basically private (European) rallycross, then? I approve!
Ever considered holding SCCA RallyCross events there? That course looks really sweet. The Cavalier with four wheels off of the ground makes me feel warm inside.
