I wish I could have went this year, but alas....

New 65-66 Mustangs and not made by Dynacorn:

3.5 and 2.0 EcoBoost engines slated for crate motors. Complete engine control package will be available, separately. This will be just like the 5.0 Coyote crate.

New pit vehicle for someone?

And a COPO Camaro:

I can confirm all the things mentioned in the first post. There is also a company here offering performance billet compressor wheels for most popular turbos.

Are they hitting a lower price point or are they aiming it towards less served markets?

I talked to one of the guys selling the new/old Mustang body shell and he said the price would be in the $15,000 range. Each one can be customized to your wants or needs. Like big tubs for the rear wheel wells if you want to run big tires or a different floor pan from a later Mustang to accommodate the newer bigger transmissions, etc.

I also got a look at the new 2015 Mustang and I do have to say that the car looks way better in person then in the pictures I saw on line. I still don't like the rear but I can live with the front and the side view is really nice! I did not look under the car so I can't comment on the cars suspension.

In reply to Ojala:

The company and subsequently all the reps were from Malaysia, so it was hard to get a lot of info. I'm not sure they are taking direct orders at this time. They had wheels on display from IHI Garrett Holset and BorgWarner. The price for the Holset wheels was in line with what factory replacements cost.

It would look like an old Hot Wheels die-cast... with half the engine sticking up through the hood...

Dang that is sexy. One of the reasons I sold my '65 Fastback is it had both rust and collision damage and I knew without cubic dollars it would never be right. This puts bad thoughts in my head. I wonder how much of the other specific Fastback stuff (back glass, door glass, interior fiberglass, c-pillar vents) is available though to complete one.

Is there a place online that's covering the show? I'd like to see all of it.

I saw Hot Rod posting blog posts, and saw at least a half dozen guys in bangshift shirts running around. There was other media but I didn't catch from where.

Of course our favorite message board overlords were there also.

You'll need to log in to post.
