Pretty soon all these great cars will be sitting in the man cave garages of fund managers and plastic surgeons, to be polished monthly and driven semi-annually -- and that's a damn shame....
I drove my '64SC to work today. That's after the 425 mile drive yesterday. You'd be surprised how many 356s are driven frequently. They are likely the most usable 50 year old car around.
I live in the Porsche-free wilderness of Northern NY, but I just got back from a month long, 8600 mile coast to coast trip in my SC coupe, including 10 days in Southern/Central California.
I saw three 356's displayed in boutique car dealerships, but only 1 other one on the road -- pretty sad...

You need to post some more photos of these cars!
I followed this for a bit on the way to work yesterday. I love having KCW in town, we have more aircooled VWs dragging their bellies per capita than anywhere else on earth.

^^^ I read that whole thread before...amazing what they had to do/did to that car.
I want to thank you guys for the new background. It replaced drifto mercedes wagon. A hard one to replace. love the 356's
