New to me 8th gen civic si has some clunking in the front end, and the LCA bushings are shot.

Typically I've pressed in new bushings but the parts are so unbeliveably cheap for this car on rockauto. I can get complete LCA for $30 including the ball joint. Is this a bad idea? Are they trash? Are the $100 Mevotech supreme arms actually better quality or just more marked up?

If it was just a daily beater Id absolutely run them, Ive done more than a handful of front end rebuilds using the super cheap detroit axle kits from ebay and amazon and had good luck.

If i cared about performance Id probably get some high quality arms or bushings and press them in.

I have seen weird stuff like overly soft bushings in the tension strut position of LX platform cars cause weird issues.
