I have a pretty standard open deck car trailer- two 3500lb axles, leaf springs, steel wheels, etc. It needs new leaf spring bushings as well as bushings for whatever you call the balance thingy in between the springs. Is there some sort of "answer" for what I can replace this stuff with to get a good, long service life out of it, or should I just expect to feed it these things every so often? Looks like the originals were nylon or something.
Originals were likely Nylon or Rubber. You could do solid bushings at the expense of NVH.
I would avoid urethane. They don't like the abuse and they can tear under heavy shock. I would think this would be a great application for Delrin, no?

I would gladly accept more NVH for longer life- these are pricey but "never fail" is in the name so maybe worth it?

I'm putting these on my car trailer as soon as i have enough room to get it into my driveway. They're super beefcake
Either one of those would be great
