What is the most comfortable OEM seat you have Sat in?

Hey guys, would love to hear your experiences with the best OEM seats you have graced your cheeks with?

I am always on the lookout in wrecking yards for cheap comfy seat options.

If you can, include Make, Model, Year range.

My pick is the Toyota MK2 Toyota Supra P-type seat from 82-86 they are non electric, and have manual adjustable bolsters height and air pump with a purge valve to inflate and support the lumbar. 

Head rest is perfect (for me anyways)

I drove my 4wd Tercel 1200 miles in three days, 500 of those were very bumpy Gambler 500 miles. with a few jumps thrown in for good measure.

My back had never felt so good after that many hard miles. 

Would love to hear your opinions.

ZJ-chassis Jeep Grand Cherokee (1992-1997). They are like sitting in a big, comfortable armchair.

Volvo.  Hands down, the best.

I’ve had comfortable 1000 mile days (and 5000 mile week for one lap) in my 07 Mercedes CLS63 and the seats are a big part.  Lots of adjustments, good support, heated and cooled. Not soft like a lazyboy but just right firm for all day travel. 

Yeah Volvo XC60 and or XC90. 

My XC90 will let you drive a thousand miles in a day, and then get up and do it again tomorrow.

1996 Buick LeSabre w/ leather. Hands down the most comfortable car I've ever experienced.

1976 Triumph TR7.  Cloth seats. (Pre-Dates the plaid pattern)

2004 BMW 330i ZHP with the heated Alcantara seats...pretty comfy for sporty seats.

R56 MINI sport seats. I'd put them in everything if the airbags didn't make them so expensive. 

You beat me to it!  Those 83-85.5 Supra seats are perhaps the best I've ever sat in.

The Recaro / VW seats of the 80's are pretty wonderful too.

Porsche 911/944/928 Sport seats. Easily the most comfortable for me.

My 1991 VW 2.0 GTI and my R53 MINI CooperS. My back isn't great, but I do the 1000+ miles back from the Challenge every year in one shot in the MINI.

1988-1992 Mazda 626/MX-6 seats.  My '88 626 Turbo had wonderful cloth covered seats that, per internet lore, were made by Recaro.  Extremely comfortable and would use again in other applications if needed.  All the other cars I've owned had trash for seats in comparison (SN95 Mustang, Olds Intrigue, Suzuki SX4, etc)

Volvo P2 cars, bar none - for comfort.

I really like MK5,6,7 VW GTI seats. 500+ miles easy in my older GTI

You must be a skinny little berkeleyer.  I have to set my ribcage in sideways in those seats.

The factory Recaro in my 1982 BMW 320is. 

04 Chevy Suburban leather seat.

My wife's 850 Volvo.

It’s fine but nothing special.   My Phaeton OTOH had some pretty phenomenal seats.

Depends. For outright sheer comfort 99-06 Cloth GM 40/20/40 bench. Seriously, these things are durable as hell and I have never felt fatigue in them. Even after 30 hours straight in them no fatigue. Tired, yes. Tired of being IN the damn thing, yes. But not tired from it. 

For sporty things, the fixed back Corbeau I had in the swift. It was comfy enough, but you were planted. Always.

Cloth or leather? I dislike the feel of the leather. The Cloth feels like a completely different seat than the leather to me. More supple, less creaky.

so the consensus seems to be...there's an ass for every seat.

I agree, the seats in my loaded up 03 Suburban leave me wishing I were in the Mercedes by about hour 4.  No real support, crappy quality leather, moderate cushion.   My mother in law thinks it is the most comfortable ever though, back to the ass for every seat thing.
