If you want a Jag, I would say X300 XJ6R. First of the supercharged R model Jags. Last of the glorious I6. OR a last year XJS (for the US at least). Much better electronics then the other XJS models.
Or go crazy and buy an old XJ6 coupe.

Willys CJ-2A or 3A and ALL the agricultural implements for it I could afford.
Maybe the nicest Jeep Comanche (MJ) I could find, with a late model Cherokee (XJ) front end and interior swap, possibly with an OM617 engine, and TJ Rubicon: 6 speed, NV241OR, and Dana 44s, on ~35" tires. I obviously haven't thought about it much.
Or my "GT" car, a Cummins 24V 6BT in a late '70s Volvo 240 (I like the single 7" round headlights).
330i ZHP is a good idea too.
I ran across a Volvo 140 Wagon this morning that got me looking at what you can cram into that engine bay.

Those seats!
Go full "American Beauty" and get your high school dream car.
alternatively
Buy a copy of the first car you ever owned and spend the remaining monies on making it everything you always wanted to back then and couldn't afford to do.

Didnt know that these were getting down to reasonable levels

I am terrified though...
Big issue I've heard about is the clutch pack. Qports are set up a bit soft on shifts so they wear. Especially if reverse is used a lot. Trans and diff are a single unit, new pack is a $7,000 service at the dealer. Wonder how DIY a clutch pack is... They do have Ferrari engine goodness going on under the hood.
Not sure... price might be close.... but an old TVR might be "interesting"...... I had one waaaaay back in the late 1970s it was a 1969 Vixen S2 powered by a 97hp Kent 1.6
Forget the Q-port. 3200GT's are getting dangerously cheap these days. Makes Russian Roulette with a six shooter look like good odds though
Yeah Matt,
That car is just crazy. If I was any sort of an F-Body fan it'd be in my driveway already. It's just too much wild and crazy to ignore. I'd have to stock up on speed metal for it.

Oh my.... I forgot about those. That would definitely get the wife on board.
Those didn't make it to the States, did they? I know the Coupe did but those are still around 20k bottom or more like 30k for one with three pedals (I imagine the auto-manual thing is pricey to keep up).
